Nathan Scott McNamara has a BA in English from Vassar College and an MFA in Fiction from Johns Hopkins University. His work has been published at The Atlantic, The Washington Post, The Village Voice, Literary Hub, The Los Angeles Review of Books, and more. He is a national grant writer for the early literacy organization Reach Out and Read, which serves more than 7 million families a year. He lives in Providence, Rhode Island.
